And during Russo's first run at WCW he raised their ratings by a full point and a half in 3 months. They let him go because he couldn't magically get them back on top in the ratings. And when he came back the company was already in the shitter and actually being run by corporate suits and censors who weren't even wrestling fans and wouldn't let him do anything..
